We control this 54-acre site by means of a Promotional Agreement.

Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) is reviewing its Local Plan. It has undertaken an assessment of housing need with 3 adjoining Councils (Harlow, Uttlesford and East Herts). The Objectively Assessed Need figure for EFDC is far in excess of what they have previously been required to provide.

Our land is proposed for residential development as part of a wider allocation south of the town. The Local Plan has been through its Inquiry and the Inspection Report received. It is anticipated the plan will be adopted including an allocation on our land in 2022. An outline application can then be made.
